***Submission to the GMTK 2022 Game Jam***

Walter Wilson is dead. Unfortunately, his soul has been cursed to spend the rest of its life in a die after cheating in a board game tournament. The only way to freedom is to throw itself into the dangerous Randbury Volcano. It didn't expect to be trapped inside! Help Walter’s soul find the right exit as the die reveals that this won’t be an easy task.

~~~~Controls~~~~
Mouse - Move and aim the die.
Spacebar - Hold for build-up, Release to launch die.
C - Toggle Free Camera.
WASD - Move free camera left, right, forward, and backward.
Q & E - Move free camera up and down.
~~~~Dice Abilities~~~~

1. Brick - The die is heavier. It’s harder to throw long distances.

2. Trampoline - The die is bouncier when it hits the ground.

3. Multi-Hit (3) - The die can be juggled in the air three times. Press Spacebar while it’s in the air to juggle.

4. Low Friction - The die is less affected by friction. It can keep more momentum while on the ground.

5. Low Gravity - The die is less affected by gravity. It will stay in the air longer.

6. Sling Shot - The die is lighter. It can be thrown further and faster.

Sorry, this didn't play for me. Cool concept though.

Your web build doesnt work, can you post a download link on the itch page?

I cannot without violating the rules of the jam. We are trying to figure out why it wont work and see if it is fixable. If it isn't we will just remove it from the jam and post it normally.

I had a similar problem with my webgl upload, go to Edit >> Project Settings >> Player >> WebGL >> Publish Settings >> switch Compression Format to disabled

(1 edit)

are these settings in unity? Because we got an unpublished build working almost immediately after the Jam.
